Mary ' s Road /Indian Trading Path Heritage <br /> Corridor . The HPC is grateful for your approval of a Certified Local Government grant application <br /> on January 20, and we await acceptance of our proposal from the State Historic Preservation <br /> Office . Should we be awarded the grant, we ask your commitment of $ 8 , 000 in matching funds <br /> to initiate the project . <br /> • Publish the manuscript of History and Architecture of Orange County. We request an allocation <br /> of $ 5 , 000 , to be combined with a $ 5 , 000 loan from the NC Department of Cultural Resources <br /> and private donations , to publish 1 , 500 copies of the manuscript .
