Option 1: Replace the two RTUs with higher efficiency equipment. This solution will also involve new <br /> DDC controls for the hot water plant, RTUs and VAVs. <br /> 2. Option 1 A:Use the aforementioned option utilizing an air-cooled chiller sized for the anticipated future <br /> addition. <br /> 3. Option 2: Explore a chilled beam system with an air-cooled chiller sized for the anticipated future <br /> addition. <br /> 4. Option 3:Explore a chilled beam system with a water to water chiller utilizing a geothermal well system. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK-ARCHITECTURE: <br /> The project consists of a study regarding the architectural and engineering implications and cost estimates for <br /> the following possible solutions: <br /> 1. Option 1: Repair the existing roof to last 5 more years.The Architect will work with a roof installer to <br /> determine the viability. <br /> 2. Option 1 A: Use the option 1 and additionally study the site impacts for ground equipment (i.e. air- <br /> cooled chiller). <br /> 3. Option 2: Explore roof replacement for the current roof configuration. <br /> 4. Option 3: Explore roof replacement with consideration of future interior renovation and addition.This <br /> option would propose structural changes and top lighting via roof monitors,skylights, clerestory, etc. <br /> It is anticipated as a part of the overall design process, that we will hold meetings with the client and their <br /> stakeholders as needed.
