2 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> PROCLAMATION OF RECOGNITION ON <br /> CHAPEL HILL HIGH SCHOOL WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM <br /> WINNING THE 2019 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP <br /> WHEREAS, on November 9, 2019, the Chapel Hill High School Women's Volleyball Team <br /> captured the North Carolina High School Athletic Association's (NCHSSA) 3A <br /> State Championship; and <br /> WHEREAS, under the guidance of Coach Ross Fields, the Chapel Hill High School Women's <br /> Volleyball Team earned its third NCHSAA title; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Tigers completed the season with a 28-1 record; and <br /> WHEREAS, through hard work, dedication, teamwork, and commitment, the Tigers brought <br /> honor upon themselves, Chapel Hill High School, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City <br /> Schools District and Orange County; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it proclaimed that the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> expresses its sincere appreciation and respect to the Chapel Hill High School Women's <br /> Volleyball Team and Coach Ross Fields for the team's outstanding achievement, and their <br /> inspiration to youth across North Carolina through their dedication, teamwork, and athletic <br /> prowess. <br /> This the 10ffi day of December 2019. <br /> Penny Rich, Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />
