3 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Current FY FY 2019-20 FY 2019-20 <br /> 2019-20 Amendment Revised <br /> Section 8 Housing Choice $4,422,324 $737,954 $5,160,278 <br /> Voucher Fund <br /> Total Costs $4,422,324 $737,954 $5,160,278 <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goals are <br /> applicable to this item: <br /> • GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> • GOAL: FOSTER A COMMUNITY CULTURE THAT REJECTS OPPRESSION <br /> AND INEQUITY <br /> The fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race or <br /> color; religious or philosophical beliefs; sex, gender or sexual orientation; national <br /> origin or ethnic background; age; military service; disability; and familial, residential <br /> or economic status. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There are no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal <br /> impacts associated with these Budget Amendment items. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts are included in the background information above. <br /> This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds in FY 2019-20 and <br /> increases the General Fund by $2,000; increases the County Capital Fund by $95,555; <br /> increases the Community Development Fund by $80,000; and increases the Section 8 Housing <br /> Choice Voucher Fund by $737,954. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve these budget, grant <br /> and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2019-20. <br />
