• General consulting concerning any C & D landfill issues or unanticipated solid waste issues <br />that may arise during the year. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The expected cost for the C&D landfill-specific work is expected to be <br />about $59,000. Of this amount, approximately $52,000 is already available in the FY 2000-01 <br />Landfill Operations budget. The FY 2001-02 Solid Waste/Landfill Operations budget request <br />will include the additional $7,000 needed to fulfill this contract. The general consulting <br />assistance, to be used on an as-needed basis, will be in an amount not to exceed $25,000. <br />That funding will also be incorporated in the FY 2001-02 Solid Waste/Landfill Operations budget <br />request. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the Addendum <br />to the agreement with Joyce Engineering, subject to final review by staff and the County <br />Attorney, and authorize the Chair to sign it. <br />
