On a daily basis I work with individuals that have a variety of <br /> disabilities and other barriers which may impact their functioning in daily life. I have worked with <br /> individuals with a variety of disabilities since 2009 and received my Master s of Occupational <br /> Therapy from UNC-Chapel Hill. As an occupational therapist and during my time in graduate <br /> school I have been trained to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and help them <br /> reach their potential in daily life no matter their education level, background, race, disability, age, <br /> gender, or any other differences they may have. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I am interested in being able to give back to the community. My husband and I bought a home in <br /> Hillsborough this past September and are excited to put our roots in Orange County. By serving <br /> on this board I will not only give back to the community, but bring my knowledge of working with <br /> individuals from a variety of backgrounds with varying strengths and needs.
