Building Is sues

Nancy Coston informed the Board that the roof of the building has been leaking for some time.
There are now several areas that are closed off due to some environmental findings and/or pending
the results of testing. One of the visitation rooms has been closed but is now reopened. The
children’s play area in the atrium is also closed. There are a few offices in the back of the building
that are also closed for mitigation. County staff are working with the landlord to replace the roof.
These issues also impact the warehouse storage area in the back. There are a lot of items stored
in the warehouse that may need to be moved out. This would potentially impact the ability to bring
toys and other donations into the back of the building during the holi day toy programs.

2. Holiday Planning
