Deputy Finance Director and Acting <br />Assistant County Manager and Harold Haywood, Chapel Hill Solid Waste Services <br />Supervisor <br /> <br />New Business <br />Topic A Approval of March minutes <br /> Discussion <br /> Decision/Vote(s) 5-0 <br />Action Item Al Vickers moved, Jim Ward seconded motion to approve <br />minutes <br /> <br />Topic B: Landfill Life/Community Improvement Issues <br /> <br />Wilson initiated discussion of future of landfill and community improvements to the <br />adjoining community. Various issues were raised about future interlocal agreements, <br />what constitutes the boundaries of the adjoining community subject to improvements, <br />how such improvements might be funded and which jurisdiction or jurisdictions are to be <br />responsible for the decisions and the funding. No decisions or recommendations were <br />made, pending Board of County Commissioners further discussion of a decision-making <br />process. <br /> <br /> <br />
