She
shared the draft agenda abstract going before the Board of County Commissioners on September
5, 2013. The agency is aware of over 150 households impacted by the flood. The state aid is
taking some time to come through. Pat Garavaglia asked how many applications have been
approved by the state at this time. Ms. Coston responded that twenty have been approved at this
point. That number has not changed in two weeks. Staff members are working to correct errors in
the approvals of the first group. Ms. Coston noted that some victims are upset at the delays. The
county is reluctant to advance a lot of funding without knowing who is going to be approved.
