<br /> Orange County ABC Board <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> Tuesday August 26, 2014 <br />. <br /> <br />Open Session 8/26/2014 Page 1 of 3 pages <br /> <br />The Orange County ABC Board held its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 8:30 AM at the <br />ABC Board Administrative Office 601 Valley Forge Road Hillsborough, N.C. These are the minutes of the <br />Open Session. <br /> <br />Present: Elizabeth Stuckey, Chairman Gregg Jarvies, Vice Chair <br /> Rosa Tilley, Member Mike Lassiter, Member <br /> Tony DuBois, General Manager Keith Bagby, Member <br /> Ron McCoy, Finance officer Angel Neighbours, Board Secretary <br /> Mark Dorosin, B.O.C.C. Liaison <br /> <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Visitors: Mike Hammersley, Corley Redfoot <br /> Rose Satterfield, Stewart & Satterfield <br /> <br /> <br />Call to order: at 8:28am a quorum was present and Ms. Stuckey, Board Chairman, called the <br />regularly scheduled Board Meeting to Order. <br /> <br />Ms. Neighbours Board Secretary, Swore in the two new Board Members, Mike Lassiter and Keith <br />Bagby <br /> <br />Gregg Jarvies nominated Rosa Tilley for Vice Chair, Ms. Tilley declined. Ms. Tilley nominated <br />Gregg Jarrvies for Vice Chair, Mr. Lassiter seconded and the vote carried. <br /> <br />Ms. Stuckey read the Mission Statement: The Mission of the Orange County ABC Board and <br />our employees is to serve our locality responsibly by controlling the sale of spirituous liquor, <br />returning profits to Law enforcement, Alcohol Education, and the County Fund while providing <br />excellent service in customer friendly, modern and efficient stores. <br /> <br />Ms. Stuckey read the conflict of Interest Statement: The question was asked if anyone has a <br />conflict of interest with respects to any matters on the agenda? All present said nay. <br /> <br />1 Approval of the Open meeting Agenda: Ms. Tilley made a motion to approve the Open meeting <br />agenda, Mr. Jarvies seconded the motion and the vote carried. <br /> <br />2 Meeting Minutes: The Open Session Meeting minutes for June 18, 2014 were presented. Discussion <br />was held. Ms. Tilley made a motion to accept the open session minutes, Mr. Jarvies seconded the <br />motion and the vote carried. <br /> <br />Meeting Minutes: The Closed Session Meeting minutes for June 18, 2014 were presented. Discussion <br />was held. Mr. Jarvies made a motion to accept the closed session minutes, Ms. Tilley seconded the <br />motion and the vote carried. <br /> <br />Meeting Minutes: The Open Session Meeting minutes for August 11, 2014 were presented. <br />Discussion was held. Mr. Jarvies made a motion to accept the open session minutes with changes <br />made during discussion, Ms. Tilley seconded the motion and the vote carried. <br /> <br />3 Recurring Board topics were presented, no changes at this time. <br /> <br />
