DocuSign Envelope ID:5FA4B1AC-B897-4C32-A1E4-4B4A8885A341 <br /> GULF RFP for Disaster DebrisClearance and Removal Services <br /> Orange County, NC <br /> • Assuring that employees and subcontractors be required to immediately report all accidents, injuries, and "near <br /> misses°to their supervisor. <br /> • Conducting safety meetings to review past activities, plan for new or changed operations, review hazard analyses <br /> and establish safe working procedures. <br /> ■ Communication of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) standards will take place in orientation <br /> trainings, safety meetings specific to individual situations, daily tool box meetings, memo's and other ways <br /> CrowderGulf deems appropriate. <br /> • Assuring that all associates, regardless of position know that they have the right to"Stop the Job" in the event of <br /> a HSSE deficiency. <br /> • Conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) to define the activities being performed, the sequences of work, the <br /> specific hazards anticipated, and the control measures to be implemented to eliminate or reduce each hazard to <br /> an acceptable level. <br /> A list of local Hospitals, Police Stations, and FirelEmergency Response Stations will be provided as part of <br /> the Safety Plan after project activation, <br /> SAFETY WILL BE THE PARAMOUNT CONCERN AT ALL TIMES <br /> Environmental Sensitivity <br /> CrowderGulf is committed to unequivocal protection of the <br /> environment at all work sites and surrounding areas. This is 4A <br /> accomplished by attention to organizational, operational and - - <br /> performance details. CrowderGulf personnel or subcontractors r <br /> assigned to specific contractual duties that substantially impact - <br /> environmental quality(i.e„ incinerator operators)will have the quality <br /> of their work continually evaluated by a senior supervisor. Employees <br /> with duties partially or indirectly applicable to environmental protection <br /> will have those duties evaluated daily, whether relating to noise, <br /> smoke, dust, traffic, drainage or general containment actions or containment actions specifically related to.hazardous <br /> materials. <br /> Regulatory Permits and Compliance <br /> CrowderGulf will ensure all applicable permits are obtained before work is started, including but not limited to the <br /> following: <br /> • Air quality <br /> ■ Forestry <br /> • Storm Water <br /> • Reclamation of Surface Mining Sites <br /> • Ground and Surface Water <br /> ■ Local Health Department Permits <br /> We work in full regulatory compliance with all agencies Involved in disaster recovery including, but not limited to: <br /> • Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA) <br /> • Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) <br /> ■ Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) <br /> • North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources <br /> ■ United States Coast Guard (USCG) <br /> ■ United States Corps of Engineers (USACE) <br /> • North Carolina Department of Public Health <br /> ■ North Carolina Department of Transportation <br /> 128 <br />
