100919 jcb <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY CONTRACT AMENDMENT #1 <br /> <br />THIS CONTRACT AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into <br />this 9th day of October 2019 by and between ORANGE COUNTY (hereinafter <br />referred to as "County") and Planet Technologies, Inc., (hereinafter referred to as <br />"Consultant"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br />THAT WHEREAS, the County and Consultant entered into a contract dated <br />25th day of April 2019 (internally designated as 2019-255) for the provision of <br />troubleshooting and remediation of Active Directory issues (hereinafter the "Original <br />Agreement"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County and Consultant desire to modify the Original Agreement <br />while keeping in effect all terms and conditions of the Original Agreement not <br />inconsistent with the terms and conditions set forth below. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration for the mutual covenants and <br />agreements made in the Original Agreement and herein, the parties agree to <br />amend the Original Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Basic Services shall be increased to include up to forty (40) additional <br />hours of active support contract at a rate of one hundred eighty five dollars <br />($185.00) per hour for a total of seven thousand four hundred dollars ($7,400). <br /> <br />2. The maximum amount payable for basic services per section 5.1.1 shall be <br />revised to nineteen thousand dollars ($19,000.00). <br /> <br />3.
