DocuSign Envelope ID: BCO2907C-8AE0-4E3C-8597-0608222C9745
Location Description Built on the idea that "theatre belongs to everyone," PlayMakers
Mobile plans a ten+ stop regional tour of WILDER & WILDER.
Production planning and communication with community partners
have begun. Exact performance locations are still being confirmed,
but will include (to date) the following: Orange County Public Library
(Hillsborough), Cedar Grove Community Center (Cedar Grove), Inter-
Faith Council's Men's Shelter (Chapel Hill), Orange High School
(Hillsborough), possibly the Sunshine Lavender Farm (Hurdle Mills),
and possibly either the Chapel Hill Public Library (Chapel Hill) or The
ArtsCenter (Carrboro). Because many of these locations are publicly
owned or serve the general public, they include accommodations to
allow access for persons with disabilities.
With funding from the Orange County Arts Commission, PlayMakers
will be able to expand the number of Orange County venues and
participants this mobile program serves.
Artist Description PlayMakers Mobile productions are cast from students enrolled in
UNC's Professional Actor Training Master of Fine Arts program in the
UNC Department of Dramatic Art. We are committed to multicultural
casting, to reflect onstage the makeup of our multicultural
community. Best efforts will be made to hire Orange County-based
multicultural artists for any additional paid positions for this program.
Are you hiring Yes
multicultural artists
with the requested
funds from this
grant?
What is the total 500
amount you will pay
the multicultural
artists with the funds
you receive from this
grant?
