In the years since 198$, the numbers have steadily grown, as more <br />emphasis has been placed on year round programming and new events were added. Each of <br />the 150 plus participants benefit greatly from participation in the games. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The financial impact is accounted for in the county budget in the <br />allocated funds for designated staff of the Department on Aging and Recreation and Parks <br />Department who work with this program. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />proclaim and declare April 23-May 9, 2001 as Orange County Senior Games Events Days. <br />
