DocuSign Envelope ID:2647627B-353C-4BD5-9DD1-OFB53CA34689
Project End Date (no April 2020
later than June 30,
2020)
Project Goals CWS Drama Club's goal is to hire a Director who will continue giving
CWS students an opportunity to participate in a high quality after
school Theater program. This Director will support the current Drama
Club philosophy of collaboration and cooperation through Theater.
This project will also fund an experienced lighting consultant who will
instruct students with lighting and sound. The Director will encourage
student teamwork to solve problems and will remain true to the
Drama club vision of student empowerment through their supported
creativity and expression in the Theater Arts.
The Director will schedule and oversee auditions and collect Crew
applications. The director will create a schedule for the club with
meetings 3 - 4 days a week culminating with a production March 19-
21, 2020, and including a school day performance for an elementary
school. With an experienced Director, students will learn the basics
of all aspects of Theater during their production. With the lighting
consultant students will learn safe, technical skills with lighting
equipment. The Drama Club Director and the supervising crew
directors will continue to include all students who are interested in
Drama club, finding a place for each to participate.
Students in 6th grade or those joining Drama club for the first time
will be considered "interns in training" . Students with more
experience will be encouraged to serve as leaders.
