OCAG juries <br /> into membership high quality artists from diverse ethnic <br /> backgrounds and all socioeconomic levels residing in Orange <br /> County. Membership currently includes 106 female and 34 male <br /> artists. These members will open their studios to visitors of all ages <br /> and socioeconomic backgrounds. <br /> In addition, the Guild's purpose is to provide year round <br /> opportunities by: <br /> • Hosting an annual information/education booth at Festifall for over <br /> 15,000 attendees <br /> • Maintaining a list of over 140 member artists, their contact <br /> information and the locations of their studios <br /> • Providing a website to promote members' artwork with contact <br /> information and an artist liaison to respond to queries about the guild <br /> and its artists <br /> • Offering an organizational Facebook page, Instagram and a blog <br /> publicizing members' events and recent artwork, videos about <br /> artistic process and inspiration, and a publicly accessible calendar of <br /> members' events <br /> • Hosting quarterly meetings with educational programs and speakers <br /> • Coordinating forums and workshops on art related topics <br /> • Promoting and organizing interest and learning groups <br /> • Sponsoring twice yearly pop up art shows for the public <br /> The OCAG Open Studio Tour depends on support from member fees <br /> and donations from the community.
