2 <br /> 1 o Durham Tech Assistance <br /> 2 • Radio System <br /> 3 • Workforce Development <br /> 4 <br /> 5 Matt Sullivan, Chapel Hill Fire Chief, said he has been serving as President of Fire <br /> 6 Chiefs' Council for the past year. He said the Council meets six times a year, and get things <br /> 7 done. He recognized Commissioner Dorosin, Commissioner Price and Commissioner McKee <br /> 8 for serving now, or in the past, on the Council. He said tonight he will provide an update of the <br /> 9 last 8 months, since the Chiefs last met with the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) in <br /> 10 February. He said the Council discussed if this gathering is important, and it was unanimously <br /> 11 agreed upon that it is important to discuss issues. <br /> 12 Matt Sullivan said Tracy Lambert died last week, after a long fight with cancer. He said <br /> 13 this was a major loss, and she was a joy to work with. He said her husband also has cancer, <br /> 14 and their family is in the Council's prayers. He said this weekend Chief Cabe will travel to <br /> 15 Maryland; also it has been a year since Jeff Holden passed away.
