2 <br /> Orange County seeks to create, preserve, and protect a natural environment that includes clean <br /> water, clean air, wildlife, important natural lands, and sustainable energy for present and future <br /> generations. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: The following Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal <br /> impacts are applicable to this item: <br /> • ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND WASTE REDUCTION <br /> Initiate policies and programs that: 1) conserve energy; 2) reduce resource consumption; <br /> 3) increase the use of recycled and renewable resources; and 4) minimize waste stream <br /> impacts on the environment. <br /> The provision of emergency storm debris management services will minimize waste stream <br /> impacts on the environment. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve and authorize the <br /> Manager to sign an Agreement with Crowder Gulf, LLC for the purpose of providing Emergency <br /> Storm Debris Clearance and Removal for the initial three year term and to sign future renewals <br /> and amendments. <br />
