adolescent parent expansion program in the Chapel Mill Carrboro System far next year, DSS is <br />not recommending a contract with the Chapel Hill Carrboro System, In fiscal year 2004-2005, <br />the social worker under this contract provided case management and support for six teen <br />parents. The Department of Social Services, however, will continue to provide services to these <br />teen parents through agency staff. <br />The Social Services Board has reviewed this contract and recommends approving $45,534 for <br />Orange County Schools for FY2005-2006. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The contract amount of $45,534 is fully paid by federal funds received <br />by Social Services through the County Work First Block Grant program, <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board accept the Social <br />Services Board recommendation and approve the contract renewal with the Orange County <br />Schools System and authorize the Chair to sign. <br />
