At least 250,000 gpcl of wastewater treatment capacity should remain <br />far development of other phases of system expansion and the Buckhorn Road EDD, should that capacity. <br />be required. <br />Conclusion <br />There is no question that there are a number of difficult and unresolved issues related to the continued <br />development of the Efland sewer system as a whole. However, successful resolution of these issues is <br />largely independent of providing sewer service to the bond referendum def ned potion of Efland. This <br />• - - - - -particular area is. already served by Orange-Alamance and contains very little undeveloped area. It is <br />'-- `" ' -inipa~;ted by a number af-iaiiing septic- systems and contains a significant number of the individuals that . <br />the County has historically committed to providing sewer service for.
