That's over 500 college student volunteers and <br /> under-served children. ME is working to launch one more chapter <br /> over the next year, and plans to continue replicating its model on <br /> campuses across the country. Most of our students are from low <br /> income families and/or qualify for free-and-reduced lunch. 95%of <br /> program participants are receiving free or reduced Iunch.Our student <br /> demographics are: African American - 80%, Asian American - 5%, <br /> Caucasian -5 0/a, Hispanic/Latino - 10%. <br /> Location Description Musical Empowerment partners with an ADA compliant local church <br /> and elementary school in the the Chapel Hill -Carrboro Area, which <br /> have rooms for lessons and performance spaces for recitals. <br /> Artist Description College students musicians are the artists that we primarily work with <br /> to offer one-on-one lessons and music mentorship to K-12 students. <br /> Are you hiring No <br /> multicultural artists <br /> with the requested <br /> funds from this <br /> grant? <br /> How will the Musical Empowerment shares videos, pictures, and <br /> project/program be stories from our programs on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. We <br /> publicized and will tag the NC Arts Council & Orange County Arts Commission in <br /> promoted to reach social media posts/tweets and will also acknowledge you as a <br /> intended sponsor and spread the word about your great outreach work. <br /> participants?
