Since our founding in 1958, <br /> the Ackland has been one of North Carolina's most important cultural <br /> resources, serving roughly 55,000 visitors annually. Our location and <br /> programs bridge campus and community, and we are always free, <br /> open, and accessible to all. We provide experiences that spark <br /> insight into ourselves, each other, and the world.
