Appointments to this task force were made in February, <br />and the group held its first meeting on March 14. The group will meet every week or two until <br />the middle of May, and will present its report to the BOCC before the end of May. Task force <br />members from the BOCC and the. two school boards may wish to offer comments or answer <br />questions from other elected officials about the process. <br />No Attachments <br />b) November 2001 Bond Referendum <br />The identified capital needs of both school systems will be presented to the Capital Needs <br />Advisory Task Force during that group's next two meetings. As noted above, their <br />recommendations are scheduled for presentation to the BOCC in May. The Commissioners <br />will deliberate and decide in June the amounts to be included on the ballot for various <br />purposes (e.g. schools, land for parks and open space, public buildings, etc). County staff will <br />review the major steps leading up to the November bond vote, including procedural steps <br />required by the Local Government Commission. <br />No Attachments <br />
