We would ask for more information on projected water availability for fire protection.
Plans indicate the extension of an eight inch water line from an existing six inch waterline
from the Orange-Alamance Water System. Low water supplies that currently exist in the
Fieldview Subdivision will be extended into the High Rock Farms Subdivision based on
information provided on the preliminary plans. Our intent is not to delay the approval
process, but to insure that adequate water supplies are made available for fire suppression
purposes. I talked to Mr. Alan Miles of Civil Consultants today and his indication is that a
plan will be developed, within a reasonable time, to address these issues.
If you need additional information, please contact us.
