Company routinely refers to 2-3 likely <br /> 22 vendors that may follow and co-locate. <br /> 23 • Medline's $65.3 million investment would make the firm Orange County's largest <br /> 24 manufacturing property taxpayer. <br /> 25 • This distribution operation is a low water user and does not put heavy manufacturing <br /> 26 related challenges on the environment. <br /> 27 • The site connects to the County's Article 46-fund utility lines that were strategically <br /> 28 placed in the Buckhorn Economic Development District to attract non-residential new <br /> 29 business. <br /> 30 • Establishes another successful public/private partnership between Orange County and <br /> 31 the City of Mebane to grow the industrial tax base and new employment in a designated <br /> 32 "Rural Census Tract" area. <br />
