5 <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />For: Cultural and Archaeological Survey <br />Little River Regional Park and Natural Area <br />Orange County is seeking a qualified and experienced archaeologist to conduct a survey of cultural <br />and archaeological resources within the proposed Little River Regional Park and Natural Area. <br />The information will be used far siting park facilities and for identifying areas of historic and <br />cultural interest for interpretation. The development of this new park is a cooperative project <br />among the partners Orange County, Durham County, Triangle Land Conservancy and Eno River <br />Association. The park will be jointly owned and managed by Orange and Durham counties. <br />All proposals should address the specifications of the accompanying Scope of Work, and should <br />include, but not be limited to: <br />A discussion of the research design for the proposed investigation. <br />2. A discussion of the field and laboratory methods to be employed. <br />3. A work schedule for the proposed survey. <br />4. An itemized budget estimate for the proposed survey. <br />5.
