This will be the fourth <br />year of contracting with the same pharmacist, The contract for FY 2005-2006 includes a 2'/z% <br />increase aver last year, $10,803 per year or approximately $32 per hour far on-site pharmacy <br />services. Pharmacy services enabled the Health Department to provide clinical services to over <br />5,000 patients seen in one of the department's clinical services. In addition, in this past year, <br />the pharmacist has assisted in the development of a limited formulary far the initial offering of <br />primary care services, The pharmacist has also assisted in recruiting and training volunteer <br />pharmacists for emergency responses. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The total cost of the contract is $10,803 for the fiscal year for <br />approximately 334 hours of on-site pharmacy services. The $10,803 is part of the <br />recommended Health Department budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the renewal <br />contract and authorize the Chair to sign, pending the approval of the 2005-2006 budget and <br />County Attorney review, <br />
