I completed my B.S.B.A <br /> (Accounting focus) at UNC-Wilmington, and spent my first 4.5 years working in Public <br /> Accounting specializing in Tax. I think this accounting experience will allow me to understand the <br /> actual costs of proposed County changes very well. I have always had an ability to understand <br /> the financial side of things, and whether endeavors are financially feasible, and I hope to bring <br /> that skill to the table as a member of the Planning Board. Currently I work as a project <br /> accountant for a Utility-Scale Solar Farm Construction company- I am familiar with the <br /> permitting processes, zoning process, etc. and am very familiar with all the intricacies of a new <br /> development project and future planning. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> I ve always enjoyed being a contributing member of my community, and now back in <br /> Hillsborough I am looking for a way to be an active voice for my hometown. I think serving on the <br /> Orange County Planning board would provide me with an opportunity to serve my community, <br /> and participate in something I feel very passionate about-the development and planning of my <br />
