Areas of Concern Yes/No/NA Exit Summary
Are there resident issues or topics that need follow-up or review at a later
time or during the next visit?
Y Discuss items from “Areas of Concern” Section as
well as any changes observed during the visit
A/C is NOW fixed.
Activity Director has been hired
(within last week), and they are
expecting good things. Something to
ask about next visit.
The wing to the left smelled musty and of
urine when first visited. 20 minutes later,
the urine smell was not evident but it stilled
musty, not fresh. There has been a history
of mold on that corridor, so this merits
follow-up.
One resident who lives near the end of that
corridor, complained about the use of the
piano in the reading room. He has asked
staff to encourage people to use one of the
other pianos rather than play that one
loudly for long periods. Perhaps time limits
could be implemented.
One client mentioned and two others
nearby seemed to agree, that the
facility was run better and staff
seemed happier when Brian was the
Director (Manager?). He mentioned a
high staff turnover as an indication
(this was NOT verified by us).
One other resident praised Christian.
We may need to observe staff more
while there.
This Document is PUBLIC RECORD.
