Lee County Nursing homes which will mean more time spent by other Ombudsmen <br /> on county concerns. <br /> <br />• Department on Aging (DOA) (Annie Deaver) <br />o Caregivers’ Summit, August 20th Chapel Hill Friday Center, “Navigating the Transitions in <br />Life.” Annie will be presenting material at the scheduled event. <br /> <br />o Partnering with Piedmont Health. Announced the partner of Orange County’s DOA with <br />that of Piedmont Health. The plan is to meet 4 times a year to discuss timely and shared <br />topics. <br /> <br />o Care Partner Collaborative: Information provided for interested parties in the county for <br />a weekly opportunity for those with early-stage memory loss. Activity is held on <br />Wednesdays at the Seymour Center, 10am to 2pm; it requires registration but is free and <br />includes lunch.
