Once adopted, the Orange County Advisory Board on Aging will make an annual progress
report on M.A.P. and recommend annual revisions including updated costs and priority changes
for the BOCC approval.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: The Master Aging Plan report presents proposed costs, both start-up
(one time) and annual (recurring), for the fiscal year 2001 objectives and estimates for the years
2002-2005. Some costs are unknown at this time and to be determined (TBD) after further
research on the issue as to level of need. (See M.A.P-Appendix C: Summary Chart)
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board consider the adoption of
the Master Aging Plan in principle and that the BOCC address individual goals in the future
based on the timing of initiatives and funding available.
