6 <br /> no substantial change in use. (1997-465, s. 1; 2015-195, s. 5(a).) This subsection preempts the enforcement of <br /> any local law against a qualifying shooting range that is in compliance with previously existing law even if its <br /> continued operation violates new or amended local laws as long as there is no substantial change in use of the <br /> qualifying shooting range. <br /> 14-409.47. Application of Article. <br /> Except as otherwise provided in this Article, this Article does not prohibit a local government <br /> from regulating the location and construction of a sport shooting range after September 1, 1997. <br />
