53 <br />Mr. Craig Benedict <br />November 17, 2000 <br />Page ii <br />Future Clearing, Protection of Ex'sting Trees,,_ and_Rest~ictive <br />Coe n Questions have been raised regarding the extent of <br />future clearing as houses are built in this subdivision. I think <br />it is very important to note initially that this tract of land has <br />substantial tree coverage remaining from the clearing that has <br />already been done, and stringent measures have been put in place to <br />ensure that, to the extent possible, maximum tree foliage remains. <br />Indeed, it only makes sense from the point of view of the <br />prospective homeowners that they retain their extraordinarily <br />beautiful homesites in the natural settings presently available. <br />I have included photographs taken recently which show the rough <br />grading of the present cul-de-sac. The first photograph (Fig. 14), <br />looking down into the cul-de-sac, includes a view of the road as it <br />has been stabilized with suitable erosion control devices. The <br />photograph labeled Figure 15 clearly shows lot signs at the end of <br />the cul-de-sac with the thick tree coverage.
