<br />The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding necessary
<br />for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for themselves and their
<br />dependents.
<br />
<br />The expansion of the County’s electric vehicle fleet supports the growing electric vehicle
<br />industry in Orange County and North Carolina which supports jobs and investments in research
<br />and development, charging station manufacturing, and electrical contracting. Electric vehicles in
<br />Orange County are also able to refuel for less than half of the cost of gasoline, safeguarding
<br />taxpayer resources.
