He <br /> said staff wants to broaden outreach through local communities. <br /> Chair Rich asked if the barn cats are working cats. <br /> Bob Marotto said yes, and the County has a barn cat program, and these animals <br /> provide services to farm settings. He said this program started in late 2017, and staff continues <br /> to work on this. He said staff is working with people to get these cats spayed and neutuered. <br /> Commissioner McKee said barn cats are notoriously difficult to work with, as they may <br /> appear regularly, or not be seen for weeks.
