REPRESENTATIVE APPOINTMENT DATE <br /> TERM <br /> 1 BOCC At-Large First Full Term 09/30/2022 <br /> Appointment <br /> FOR BOCC CONSIDERATION: Position #1 At-Large is a single position on the newly formed <br /> Orange County Climate Council. <br /> NOTE - If the an individual on the Applicant Interest List is appointed by the BOCC, the <br /> following vacancies remain: <br /> • None <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: Enable Full Civic Participation. Ensure that Orange County <br /> residents are able to engage government through voting and volunteering by eliminating <br /> disparities in participation and barriers to participation. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND WASTE REDUCTION <br /> Initiate policies and programs that: 1) conserve energy; 2) reduce resource consumption; 3) <br /> increase the use of recycled and renewable resources; and 4) minimize waste stream impacts <br /> on the environment. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board consider making an <br /> appointment to the Orange County Climate Council. <br />
