28 <br /> 1 Travis Myren said these have gone from a general fee to a more specific fee schedule, <br /> 2 and staff can follow up with more information. <br /> 3 Commissioner Price referred to page 467 (tank install and removal), and said the County <br /> 4 was charging $50, but now is going to charge $200. She asked if this is correct. <br /> 5 Chair Rich said this was last revised in 2011. <br /> 6 Commissioner Price said all the others were as well, but none have as sharp an <br /> 7 increase as this one. <br /> 8 Paul Laughton said that is for cost recovery, and it has been 8 years since that has been <br /> 9 changed. <br /> 10 Commissioner Price referred to page 468, and asked if the same applies for the <br /> 11 temporary tents and canopy. <br /> 12 Paul Laughton said that increase is also for cost recovery and labor. <br /> 13 Bonnie Hammersley said staff is trying to get cost recovery. <br /> 14 Commissioner Price referred to page 471- failure to pay civil penalty; under animal <br /> 15 control — and said the fee is going from $25 to $100, and asked if people are failing to pay <br /> 16 because they do not have the money to do so. <br /> 17 Commissioner Dorosin said the increase in this penalty brings it in line with the other civil <br /> 18 penalty (no rabies vaccine), which is also $100. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Greene to <br /> 21 approve the fee schedule, with the amendments as suggested by Commissioner Price. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Travis Myren said with all of the amendments, the bottom line shows a surplus of <br /> 26 $40,523.00. He said the easiest way to dispose of this surplus is to reduce the amount of <br /> 27 appropriated fund balance. <br /> 28 The Board agreed by consensus. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 4.
