I worked as an air quality policy analyst for 29 years at the US EPA, including work on <br /> the economics and jobs impacts of climate policy. I helped write Carrboro s Community Climate <br /> Plan in 2014-15, and I also helped with the Solarize program in Orange County. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> Climate change is an existential crisis affecting all of us and all of civilization. We need to do our <br /> part at the local level to implement solutions that reduce (and ulitmately eliminate) our use of <br /> fossil fuel, both in electricity use and transportation.
