,- - <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS . . <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COOPERATIVE <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN ORANGE COUNTY AND THE UNITED STATES <br />DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) FOR <br />SERVICES PERFORMED DURING THE FFY 2000-2001 <br />WHEREAS, on September 5, 2000, the Board of Commissioners approved a <br />Cooperative Agreement with HUD for FFY 2000-2001; and, <br />WHEREAS, HUD proposes to amend the Cooperative Agreement to provide <br />$10,000 in additional funding for additional duties and responsibilities associated <br />with the Southeast Regional Civil Rights Summit sponsored by Orange County; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the Orange County Department of Human Rights and Relations can <br />use these funds to do among other things: purchase conference training <br />supplies, space rental, printing costs, rental of audio/visual equipment and other <br />administrative costs associated with the conference; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Orange County Board of <br />Commissioners to approve an amendment to the Cooperative Agreement with <br />HUD providing the Department of Human Rights and Relations with $10,000 for <br />the Southeast Regional Civil Rights Summit. <br />This the 6~' day of March, 2001. <br />
