Check here if no impact to contract time❑. <br /> Will this change order impact the date of substantial completion?❑ Yes❑ No. If yes,the amended date of substantial <br /> completion is: December 20,2019 <br /> Full Description of Change:This change request includes: <br /> Alternate 2 per bid form to replace the entire existing VRF system in the building per Addendum#4,Clarification 01.Change order to <br /> provide&install programming and controls to allow remote access to monitor this facility with Trane/Mitsubishi controls.This will <br /> require IT drop coordination on site and will be accessed via Web(Bacnet).Refrigerant piping sizes changes to accommodate larger <br /> (capacity)outdoor units,increase size/tonnage to(2)CU,10 size changes to various indoor equipment.Demo electrical conduits and <br /> wiring for both existing cooling units.Electrical Complete electrical construction for new cooling units per drawings.Electrical Material <br /> and labor. <br /> Reason for Change: During remediation demolition and removal of contents,the condition of the building was revealed to have <br /> extensive microbial growth issues beyond what was able to be observed prior to demolition including toxigenic <br /> Stachybotrys/Chaetomium.During these new observations by ESG on 6/18/19,Condition 3(as defined by the IICRC 5520)areas were <br /> identified in excess throughout the building and on interior walls where microbial growth was observed.The widespread amount of <br /> observed microbial growth,some being toxigenic Stachybotrys/Chaetomium,indicates that the building had conditions suitable for <br /> microbial growth.Due to these findings,the cleaning of the existing units is not be guaranteed to remove all microbial growth from <br /> within each unit.Therefore it is recommended to replace the HVAC system including duct work,and cleaning all hard surface piping to <br /> remove any microbial growth.Prior to units being installed the building must pass a PRV test to ensure the new systems are not cross <br /> contaminated. <br /> Original contract sum: $1,499,409.00 <br /> Contract sum prior to this change order: $1,749,060.88 <br /> Amount of this change order: $235,464.60 <br /> Total sum of the contract including this change order: $1,984,524.48 <br /> This change order is executed to amend the contract time and/or contract sum.
