Tradebe has environmental compliance professionals that monitors ongoing <br /> environmental legislation and updates our internal staff as well as our customers with federal and state level <br /> regulatory changes that may impact our operations as well as our customers. <br /> Tradebe's Technical and Field Services groups offers a variety of waste management services, including full <br /> scale Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection; turn-key lab packing services by degreed chemist; <br /> unknown identification; Stabilization and Chemical Fixation; High Hazardous Chemical Management (i.e. <br /> explosives stabilization, compressed gas cylinder processing); Emergency Response, Tank and Industrial <br /> Cleaning; Vacuum Services; Transportation; and RCRA/DOT training. <br /> For the past 25 years of our over 30 year history, Tradebe has provided on-site waste management services to <br /> our customers. Tradebe's Technical Field Services Department offers a variety of waste management <br /> services, including full scale HHW collection; turn-key lab packing services by degreed chemist and well- <br /> trained staff; unknown identification; Stabilization and Chemical Fixation; High Hazardous Chemical <br /> Management (i.e. explosives stabilization, compressed gas cylinder processing); Transportation; and <br /> RCRA/DOT training. <br /> Tradebe is one of the largest on-site providers of community based HHW collection programs in the nation. <br /> The depth of the trained staff at Tradebe allows us to manage multiple collection sites in a given weekend. In <br /> addition to managing HHW programs, Tradebe is also one of the largest processors of household collection <br /> waste. <br /> Tradebe performed a number of large scale HHW collection events that exceeded 1000 cars per event, these <br /> included Mount Prospect IL, Richland County SC, Mobile County AL, Benton County, AR, Bloomington, IL, <br /> Tulsa, OK and Hilton Head SC. Tradebe performs approximately 50 collection events that exceed 300 cars <br /> annually. <br /> Tradebe has performed hundreds of single-day HHW events with tremendous success. A key to our success <br /> is our thorough research prior to each event. Tradebe evaluates the participant area demographics, the <br /> number of prior events, prior event results, and the types of materials being accepted and then calculates the <br /> appropriate number of personnel to meet the needs of those collection events. <br /> TRANsmON PLAN <br /> Upon of notice of award Tradebe Operations staff will contact the County onsite staff within 2 business days <br /> after notice to begin the transition process. <br /> The contract startup will be broken into individual tasks overseen by the Regional Operations Manager. Tasks <br /> will include the following <br /> Week 1 after notice of award <br /> • Meet and introduce Tradebe staff and Orange County staff, review roles and responsibilities <br /> • Review all current operational requirements with the County and contractor personnel <br /> • Review existing Operations Manuals for each location <br /> • Create Tradebe profiles for existing waste streams and submit for approval <br /> • Set Orange County as a customer in our waste management system to allow scheduling <br /> Sustainability at Work 28 <br />
