Transportation is via public roads utilizing a DOT permitted lift gate truck. Tradebe staff determines DOT <br /> hazard classes and appropriate treatment and disposal methods for the waste. Hazardous removals are <br /> requested by university personnel through an online waste tracking and inventory system. Pickups are <br /> schedule based on the online requests and the same system is utilized to track items from collection from the <br /> lab to final receipt at the TSDF. Bulking of compatible regulated halogenated and non-halogenated solvents, <br /> non-regulated wastes, low concentration corrosives are performed by Tradebe staff at the universities TSD <br /> facility in bulking stations. Tradebe tests "unknowns" and send samples for analysis when necessary. Tradebe <br /> also packages, labels, and manifests waste materials in accordance with EPA, DOT, and disposal facility <br /> standards; the waste is transported in accordance with DOT and EPA regulations. Shipments are monthly of <br /> approximately one full 24 foot straight truck. Larger shipments occur annually in December. We provide <br /> containers as needed to manage the material.
