Prior to contract startup, Tradebe will establish <br /> Complete Operations Manuals for each site that our staff will operate under. During the term of the contract the <br /> Operations Manual will be updated as necessary. Tradebe's trained chemists and technicians will fulfill all of <br /> the segregating and packing duties. Tradebe has the necessary permits and licenses to fulfill this purpose. <br /> Tradebe will work with the County to confirm on site staffing requirements for the two permanent collection <br /> location facilities. Tradebe understands that current work hours for both the Eubanks Road and Walnut Grove <br /> locations are open and staffed 7:OOAM to 6:OOPM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:OOAM to 5PM <br /> Saturday and 1:OOPM to 6:OOPM on Sunday. Tradebe will work with the County should the need for alternate <br /> hours or locations arise. Tradebe will secure all material in sealed containers by the end of the day, insure all <br /> trash is picked up and site clean prior to leaving each day. A final day end walk through will be completed prior <br /> to closing the site operation for the day. <br /> Tradebe understands that the County will provide the following services for the HHW collection event: <br /> • Security for the site; <br /> • Control of traffic; <br /> • Comfort facilities for on-site workers; <br /> • Provide containers for non-hazardous site clean-up and trash disposal. <br /> • Advertising for the location hours and acceptable materials <br /> Waste removal will be scheduled as needed; no waste will be onsite longer than the legal limit of 90 days. <br /> Tradebe will subcontract the collection of the used oil, oil filters and antifreeze from the 10 County locations <br /> collecting these materials. Tradebe will provide the testing of the oil and antifreeze prior to pick up and insure <br /> that the no used oil tank is locked for more than 7 days before collection occurs. <br /> Tradebe's subcontractor will provide containers for used oil filter collection. These containers will hold <br /> approximately 6 55 gallon drums worth of filters. <br /> Tradebe will monitor the oil and antifreeze containers on a minimum of a weekly basis to monitor levels to <br /> insure they are scheduled for pumping when full or close to full. <br /> The two parts washers will be services on an on call basis. <br /> Tradebe will pursue reuse and recycling options for the materials collected where practical. Monthly reporting <br /> of waste disposal methods and locations will be provided to the county. <br /> Tradebe will accept HHW/CESQG waste from the two (2) School Districts located within the County. Tradebe <br /> will provide collection of materials from the schools maintenance facilities. <br /> Tradebe staff will prevent, contain and clean any spills occurring in the process of regular site operations or <br /> emergencies. <br /> The Project Approach below provides additional detail on the services to be provided. <br /> Sustainability at Work 5 <br />
