Request, review and evaluate relevant information and data provided by County staff, <br /> including annual tonnage of recyclables from all programs and collection schedules and <br /> number of routes run each day for each program; <br /> d. Conduct the sort in accord with the material categories set forth on Attachment A hereto; <br /> e. Set forth the proposed sampling schedule after reviewing the information set forth in 4c <br /> above. <br /> 4. Following the sort KCI will: <br /> a. Analyze the data from the sort for each of the 11 programs and report the results to the <br /> County and UNC; <br /> b. All data shall be separated out to analyze and report UNC and County data separately; <br /> c. For the County and UNC,the data from the recycling sort will be analyzed to calculate the <br /> average percentage by weight of each material category with a 90%confidence interval for <br /> each of the 11 programs; <br /> d. For the County calculate the overall recycling composition by weighting results for each <br /> County program by that program's contribution to the total annual tons of recyclables <br /> collected by the County; <br /> e. For UNC calculate the overall recycling composition by weighting results for each UNC <br /> program by that program's contribution to the total annual tons of recyclables collected by <br /> UNC; <br /> f. Prepare a draft report for the County that discusses the study findings and conclusions for <br /> the sorted County programs, including a discussion and description by program of the <br /> contaminants. Where feasible a count of the contaminants will also be included; <br /> g. Prepare a draft report for UNC that discusses the study findings and conclusions for the <br /> sorted UNC programs, including a discussion and description by program of the <br /> contaminants. Where feasible a count of the contaminants will also be included; <br /> h. Discuss the draft reports via teleconference with County and UNC personnel; <br /> i. Following g and h above,finalize the reports and prepare data into presentation quality <br /> materials for use by County and UNC staff. <br />
