Robin reviewed all Chair <br /> data and deliverables and incorporated waste <br /> diversion recommendations into the final report. Solid Waste Association of North <br /> America (SWANA) <br /> r Comprehensive Solid and Hazardous Waste Audit, National Recycling Coalition (NRC) <br /> Appalachian State University, Boone, NC <br /> Robin directed this comprehensive audit for the <br /> university with the objective of determining the composition of the solid waste stream generated in <br /> the academic, auxiliary, and residential areas of the campus. It consisted of sampling and sorting <br /> solid waste from more than 45 distinct areas of the campus to determine the types and quantities of <br /> recoverable materials being disposed.The Hazardous Waste Audit was conducted to establish a <br /> benchmark of the university's compliance with State and Federal regulations. <br /> Solid Waste Master Plan and Waste Composition Study, Fayetteville& University of Arkansas,AR <br /> Robin managed this project to develop a Solid Waste Master Plan for the City of Fayetteville aimed <br /> at achieving an efficient, cost-effective solid waste system that maximizes waste reduction and <br /> recycling. Project work included a WCS for the city and the University of Arkansas, evaluation of the <br /> city's operations,two pilot programs, and providing a benchmark of the existing program, all to help <br /> the city toward its goal of 80%waste diversion. <br /> Waste and Recyclables Characterization Study, Durham, NC <br /> Robin directed a comprehensive waste and recyclables characterization study for the City of <br /> Durham. KCI utilized the data to identify potential opportunities to increase waste diversion.
