January 26, 2001 <br />SUBJECT: Control Access along I-40 and SR 1732 (Sunrise Road) <br />I have received the above referenced information from NCDOT regarding the right-of-way and <br />controlled access along Sunrise Road from I-40. As indicated, controlled access extends north <br />on the west side of Sunrise Road from the intersection with the I-40 right-of-way for 149.90 feet. <br />On the east side of Sunrise Road controlled access extends north for approximately 170 feet from <br />the I-40 right-of-way. <br />The entrance road to Sunrise Springs subdivision begins approximately 300 feet from the I-40 <br />right-of-way on the, west side of Sunrise Road. This is approximately 150 feet north of where <br />controlled access ends. <br />The I-40 right-of-way is indicated by dashed lines on the attached plan and requires a 100-foot <br />Type F buffer. The right-of-way for Sunrise Road is indicated by circles and requires a 30-foot <br />Type A buffer.
