For all costs of <br /> work performed on the Project,whether Incurred by the University or by the Department,the <br /> University shall provide the non-federal share. <br /> The Department will blq.the University for the non-federal share of any costs that the <br /> Department Incurs on the Project and for any costs that exceed the Total Estimated Funding, <br /> In accordance with Article 6,Reirnbursemer�t. <br /> FUNDING AUTHORIZATION <br /> When any phase of funding is authorized,the Department will notify the University in writing <br /> that funds have been authorized and can be expanded. The Universlty shall not Initiate any <br /> work nor solicit for services prior to receipt of written authorization from the Department to <br /> proceed. Any work performed,or contracts executed,prior to receipt of written authorization <br /> to proceed will be ineligible for reimbursement. <br /> C-5702A:OUTREACH AND EDUCATION INITIATIVES: <br /> This project Is set up for the University to undertake outreach and education initiatives to <br /> further the objectives of the project. Upon execullon of the Agreement,the university <br /> shall present a plan of activities along with a cost estimate. Funding will be authorized <br /> based on the cost estimate provided. If actual costs exceed estimated costs,the <br /> University may request an amendment to the funding authorization;however,the total <br /> amount funded may not exceed the total available funding for outreach and education <br /> initiatives programmed in each fiscal year. <br /> C-57026 AND C-5702C:SUBAWARD5 <br /> The University shall develop a program to solicit,review,and award applications for <br /> eligible clean fuel technology projects,as further defined in this agreement. Upon review <br /> and concurrence with selection by NCDOT and FHWA,a project break will be <br /> established under G5702B or C-5702C,depending on the year awarded,with notification <br /> to the University. The University will develop a subreciplent agreement that references <br /> the proposed project break and outlines responsibilities as further cletalled In thls <br /> Agreement.
