B,and C <br /> AND WBS Elements: C-5702A 44907.1.1 <br /> C-5702B 44907.1.2 <br /> NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY C-5702C 44907.1.3 <br /> FEDERAL-AID C-5702A CMAQ-0005(895) <br /> NUMBER: <br /> CFDA 0: 20.205 <br /> Total Funds(NCDOT Participation) $4,494,500 <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into on the last date executed below, by and between <br /> the North Carolina Department of Transportation,an Agency of the State of North Carolina, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the"Department"and North Carolina State University hereinafter <br /> referred to as the"University'. <br /> WITNESSETH. <br /> WHEREAS,Fixing:America's Surface Transportation(FAST)Act allows for the allocation of <br /> Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality(CMAQ)funds to be available for certain specified <br /> transportation activities;and, <br /> WHEREAS, the University has requested federal funding for Clean Fuel Advanced Technology <br /> (CFAT)Outreach,Awareness and Sub-Awards Program,hereinafter referred to as the Project,in <br /> Wake County,North Carolina;and, <br /> WHEREAS,the CFAT Program is administered by the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology <br /> Center(CFTC), a public service center of the University;and, <br /> WHEREAS,subject to the availability of federal funds,the University has been designated as a <br /> recipient to receive funds allocated to the Department by the Federal Highway Adminlstrafioh <br /> (FHWA)up to and not to exceed the maximum award amount of$4,494,500 for the Project;and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Department has agreed to administer the disbursement of said funds on behalf of <br /> FHWA to the University for the Project in accordance with the Project scope of work and in <br /> accordance with the provisions set out in this Agreement;and, <br /> Agreement ID#6737 1 <br />
