5thWall Building Diagnostics Consultants Government Services Annex <br /> District Attorney Office <br /> Roof Replacement <br /> November 2009 <br /> I . All Contractor personnel shall have appropriate identification on their person at all times <br /> while on site . Identification may consist of photo I . D . , uniforms with individual name and <br /> Contractor name, etc . <br /> J . No Contractor personnel will be allowed inside the facility other than the Foreman or <br /> Superintendent. <br /> K. The Contractor shall inspect the work area and access pathway each day for any openings <br /> that may allow water to enter the building . Any openings shall be temporarily patched . <br /> 2 . 07 Storage <br /> A. The Contractor shall be responsible for proper storage of equipment, materials , and devices <br /> furnished by itself and/or its subcontractors and suppliers . <br /> Be All storage and staging areas are subject to approval by the Owner or its authorized <br /> representative. <br /> Co All materials shall be on pallets and covered with non-condensing tarps . Any damaged <br /> material shall be replaced at no cost to the Owner. <br /> D . All flammable materials must be stored in an approved container or storage facility and must <br /> have lids in place while not in use . Flammable materials must be stored in accordance with <br /> the Owner ' s requirements . All open containers shall be removed from the roof daily . <br /> 2 . 08 Vehicular Access <br /> A . Location of vehicle access shall be as designated by Owner . If necessary, extend and <br /> relocate vehicle access as Work progress requires ; provide detours as necessary for <br /> unimpeded traffic flow. <br /> Be Construct temporary bridges and culverts to span low areas and allow unimpeded <br /> drainage . <br /> C . Provide unimpeded access for emergency vehicles . Maintain 20 feet wide driveways <br /> with turning space between and around combustible materials . <br /> D . Provide and maintain access to fire hydrants and control valves free of obstructions . <br /> 2 . 09 Parking <br /> A . Contractor's construction vehicles shall enter the project site and park in areas as directed by <br /> the Owner. The Contractor shall be responsible for coordination of traffic by its <br /> subcontractors , suppliers, etc . , so as not to disrupt ongoing operations of the Owner . If on <br /> site parking is not sufficient, the Contractor shall make arrangements for off site parking . <br /> Be Maintain traffic and parking areas in sound condition free of construction equipment, <br /> products , mud, snow, and ice . Maintain existing paved areas used for construction; <br /> promptly repair breaks , potholes, low areas , standing water, and other deficiencies , to <br /> maintain paving and drainage in original, or specified, condition . <br /> 09 -26 Temporary Facilities and Controls <br /> 01500004 <br />
