XIII . MODIFICATIONS TO ARTICLE 14 - TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION OF THE <br /> CONTRACT <br /> A . Paragraph 14 . 1 "TERMINATION BY THE CONTRACTOR " <br /> 1 . Delete Clause 14 . 1 . 1 . 4 in its entirety. <br /> Be Paragraph 14 . 2 "TERMINATION BY THE OWNER FOR CAUSE " <br /> 1 . In Subparagraph 14 . 2 . 2 , in the first sentence delete the words "upon certification <br /> by the Architect that sufficient cause exists to justify such action " and insert in its <br /> stead the following language : " after consultation with the Architect " . <br /> C . Subparagraph 14 . 4 . 1 " TERMINATION BY THE OWNER FOR CONVENIENCE" <br /> After the phrase "terminate the contract, " , add the words " in whole or in part . " <br /> D . Delete Subparagraph 14 . 4 . 3 in its entirety and substitute in instead the following new <br /> Subparagraph 14 . 4 . 3 : <br /> 14 . 4 . 3 In case of such termination for the Owner ' s convenience, the Contractor shall be <br /> entitled to receive payment for Work executed , and costs incurred by reason of <br /> such termination, along with an equitable portion of the Contractor ' s fee based <br /> on the portion of the Work completed . <br /> SGC - 18 <br />
